SANGALLENSIS CODEX 264
"Sangallensis 264, saec. IX2,
parchment, 8o (12.9-13 x
18,5-7 cm), 238 pages, I column, 17 lines in pages 3 & 236, 18 elsewhere,
written by
one hand. Red initials Letters and Chapter headings, dark brown ink
for text. Pp 3-236 contain the Prognosticum, pp. 237-238 containing
verses and glosses in more than one rather later hand. The manuscript is listed
as at St. Gallen in catalogues of saec. IX and 1461.
See also the
ex-libris, p. 2 (sec. XV): "Lib(er) b(eati) Galli fr(atr)um...." There
are a number of corrections, some evidently by the same or a
contemporary hand
(= eadem vel coaeva manus), some later".
